Mechanical Engineer

• 5-7 yr experience (in Mechanical Product Design and Dev., preferably automotive field).

• Experience with product design and development starting from new pursuit until warranty.

• Ability to do tear down & benchmark studies.

• Exposure to Mech. digital simulations methods & tools (Moldflow, Structural, Thermal)

• Exposure to Quality Audits (Internal/External).

• Experience with customer, supplier, validation, testing team coordination and interaction.

• Experience in Design tools like Unigraphics NX & Team center.

• Experience in Change Management (product life cycle management).

• Knowledge on Metrological instruments used to measure parts against design with GD&T.

• Working knowledge on VA/VE, MCIP, cost saving initiatives.

• Experience in using DFMEA to identify risk and take actions systematically
