Product Engineer - Mechanical 

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related 
• Proficient in English (oral and written) 

• Well trained CAD capability or CATIA/UG/Pro E 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills and strongly self motivated • Strong analytical skills and trouble shooting skills 
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization 
• More than 3 years of design work experience in relative area (nice to have) 
• Injection molding and metal stamping knowledge (nice to have) 
• Design 2D/3D components based on Voice of Customer (example: plastic injection molded connectors) for in vehicle applications 
• Make validation plan and follow up validation progress
• Present APTIV design proposals to customer and get customer approval 
• Work with program management to provide cost analysis of Bill of Material (BoM) and component cost tradeoffs
• Use analytical methods to perform simulation 
• Follow customer vehicle build events and solve related issues 
• Setup/Maintain/Update design database
